Access

Convenient Access from JR Tsunohazu Station!
To access Japan Canyon using public transportation, first take the Konan Bus bound for Oku-Tsunohazu Parking Lot from JR Tsunohazu Station. The bus ride takes about 7 minutes, and you should get off at the entrance to Japan Canyon. The drop-off location is served by the Jiyu-no-Free Bus, which operates from mid-April to early November. From the bus stop, you can easily reach Japan Canyon on foot. If you're coming by car, take National Route 101 via the Noshiro-Minami Interchange on the Akita Expressway and proceed for about 50 minutes. There are signs along the road to guide you to your destination. Japan Canyon is a nature-rich place with beautiful valleys and clear streams where you can enjoy outdoor activities such as canyoning and trekking. When visiting, it's a good idea to check the access methods and business hours.

写真で見るよりも「おぉ!!」て感じになります。歩くと割と展望台まで時間がかかります。決して険しい道のりではないのでぜひ!※日暮の池にも行こうとしたのですが、このエリアからだと遠すぎて途中まで行って諦めました(´・ω・`) 山道は嶮しい 車で近くのポイントまで行って訪れましょう(´・ω・`)

日本キャニオンはがっかりスポットと表現されることが多いのですが、それは展望台から見た時の話だと思います。 真骨頂は下から見上げた姿で、それは小ぶりながらもダイナミックな表情を見せてくれます。 行き方は日暮橋バス停から十二湖駅寄りに50mほど進んだところにあるガードレールの切れ目から獣道に入っていくのですが、途中で小川を渡る場所もあり、自信が無ければガイドさんに案内してもらうことをお勧めします。また、クマに遭遇する可能性もあるので、その辺は自己責任で…

青池に向かう途中にあるキャニオン入口駐車場から500mで絶景を見ることが出来ます。500mというと近く感じますが、山道の500mは15分ほどかかりなかなか疲れました😂一本道なので迷うことはありませんが、土が流れて木の枠だけが残った小さなハードルのような階段だったり、両脇の雑草が迫ってきていたりするので、汚れてもいい服で登ることをおすすめします。青池ほど知名度はないので自分たち以外に誰もいないところでゆっくり景色を楽しめたのが良かったです☺️写真で見たとおりの白い岩肌と青い空と緑の森で本当に綺麗でした!一台車があると便乗したくなるのか、下っている時に4〜5組とすれ違いました。駐車場も大きくはないので展望台が混むことはないと思いますが、ぜひ車が一台も止まってない時を狙って登ってみてほしいです。
