残暑厳しい中、バイクでのツーリングで立ち寄りました。 暑いので、他に人が居なくてゆっくりと景色を見ることができました。 昨年近くの山の頂上の展望台から景色を眺めましたが、整備されておらず、イマイチでしたが、こちらの展望台は手入れがされており、展望台からの景色もしっかりと楽しめました。 よく晴れていたので、四国もよく見えました。 トイレもありますし、藤棚もありますので季節には花も楽しめそうです。 ここに上がるまでの道が狭いので車で行かれる場合は気をつけてください。 少し下ったところにある、おいらん公園からの景色もなかなかです。

GW後のすぐの平日のせいか、誰も居ず貸し切りで景色を堪能出来ました。青い空、青い海に島々、小鳥の囀り、ゆっくり進む船をぼーっと眺め、来島海峡大橋や石鎚山も見る事が出来ました。御手洗の無料駐車場の所から坂道をどんどんを上って行くのですが、センターラインはありませんが舗装された道で、所々広い場所もあるので離合の心配はありませんでした。分かれ道の所で案内板が草に覆われて分からず、ちょっと躊躇いました。展望台へのスロープはかなり急で、車椅子で上がるのは少しきついのではないかと感じました。

眺めの良い展望台です。 岡村島の展望台よりも、こっちの方が好きです。駐車場から急勾配になっているので、足の悪い方は登るのが難しいかも? 御手洗地区に来られたら、ぜひ登って見てください。 また、この島の南側をバイクや自転車で走ると、眺めが良いです。
