About a 20-Minute Drive from Obihiro City
Tencho River Hot Spring can be accessed by car in about 20 minutes from JR Obihiro Station in Obihiro City. There are also bus routes available from Obihiro Station, so you can visit with peace of mind even if you don't have a car. If you are coming from Obihiro Airport, the gateway to the sky, it will take about 30 minutes by car. If accessing from the airport, it is recommended to use a rental car. Multiple car rental companies operate at the airport.

Convenient Parking at Hot Spring Inns and Roadside Stations
As the hot spring town of Tokachigawa Onsen spreads along the banks of the Tokachi River, it is recommended to use the parking lots of the inns where you stay when visiting by car. The famous hot spring inn, Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel, has a large parking lot that can accommodate about 100 cars. In addition, the roadside station, Garden Spa Tokachigawa Onsen, also has a large parking lot that can accommodate about 100 cars. As this is a roadside station, parking and toilet facilities are available 24 hours a day free of charge.
