Saikyo-ji is a rare and valuable building with a simple structure that only places thick floor beams on the side pillars. Fumyo-kaku was built in imitation of Kyoto's Kiyomizu-dera Temple and is located in the center of Takehara's scenery, offering a panoramic view of the town from here.

Access

Access in about a 20-minute walk from JR Takehara Station!
If using public transportation to access Saiho-ji Fumyo-in Temple, it's about a 20-minute walk from JR Takehara Station. There are signs and maps installed from the station, so it's relatively easy to find. If using a car, it's about a 13km, 20-minute drive via National Route 432 from the Sanyo Expressway Kawauchi IC. Either way, access is relatively smooth, making it easy to visit Saiho-ji Fumyo-in Temple. When visiting, please check the required time and traffic conditions in advance to enjoy a comfortable trip.
