This is a museum that displays the history of Izumo. The highlight is the large number of bronze swords that were excavated 20 years ago. There are 400 of them. It is rare for such a large number to be excavated at once. There are also mirrors on display that are thought to have been given to Himiko from the state of Wei, which was well worth seeing. It is said that 100 of these mirrors were given, but only two have been excavated. They are valuable. There are also displays of local chronicles, and you can learn from videos. I recommend setting aside about an hour to look around.
