A Rock Formation with Approximately 2 Million Blooming Japanese Daffodils!
Karato's Jagan is one of Shimane Prefecture's representative tourist spots. As a well-known hidden gem, you can enjoy a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Karato's Jagan is a rare rock formation designated as a natural monument by the government, consisting of a single rock formation of black-brown basic andesite that extends for about 300 meters. The rock formation is only about 1 meter wide, so you can explore it as if you were walking through narrow places. Near Karato's Jagan, there is also the Karato Daffodil Park, where over 2 million Japanese daffodils are planted. The harmonious view of daffodils and Karato's Jagan allows you to feel the wonderful natural beauty. However, as the path is a mountain trail with some unpaved areas, appropriate footwear and caution are necessary. Why not visit Karato's Jagan and enjoy the beauty of nature while sightseeing?
