This shopping street stretches for about 800 meters from Sakaiminato Station to the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum. The highlight of the street is the 177 bronze statues of yokai (supernatural monsters) placed on both sides of the road. Access

1 minute walk from Sakaiminato Station
To access Mizuki Shigeru Road by car, take the Yonago Expressway via the Meishin Expressway, Sanyo Expressway, or Chugoku Expressway and head towards Yonago IC. From there, head north on National Route 431 and you will arrive in about 40 minutes. There are several parking lots in the surrounding area, so please use them. If you are using the train, it is also possible to access the road with just a 1-minute walk from Sakaiminato Station. Sakaiminato Station is the last stop on the JR Sakaiminato Line and is relatively easy to access.

Admission Fees and Parking at Ueda Shoji Photo Museum
The admission fee for Ueda Shoji Photo Museum is 1,000 yen for adults, 500 yen for high school and university students, and 300 yen for elementary and junior high school students. For groups of 20 or more, the fees are 900 yen for adults, 400 yen for high school and university students, and 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students. Half-price admission is available for people with disabilities and one accompanying person. The parking lot has space for 100 regular cars and 9 large buses.

3月下旬の平日に行きました。人混みもなく、ゆっくりと散策出来ました。食べ歩きもでき、お土産ショップもしっかりあり、途中道にある銅像の写真を撮ったりと良かったです。ただ水木しげるロードの端から端までは長いです。もう少し寄ってもらえると良かったですが。。。それと海辺なので風も強かったです。屋根も無いので、天気は確認して行った方がいいかと思います。 駐車場は近くにあり、大体500円くらいでした。

ここに来たきっかけは、夜寝るとき、なかなか寝ない娘に「早く寝ないと恐いお化け来るぞ」と言ったら、「ねぇ、パパ、優しいお化けはいないの?」と問いかけられたからです。 私が子供の頃、ゲゲゲの鬼太郎を見てたのを思い出し、今回は3歳の娘と大雪のなか、水木しげるロードを1周しました。凄く楽しいみたいで寒さもわすれ、いろんな妖怪の銅像を触ってはこれ大好きーと、おおはしゃぎでした。 特に鬼太郎と猫娘、イタモメン、ねずみ男がお気に入りみたいで、そこでは、テンション⤴️ワンランクアップで跳ね回っていました✨娘が雪を食べながら、大満足な笑顔で観賞できたことで、私も有意義な時間を過ごすことができました❗

2025お正月に訪問。とても楽しかったです😊妖怪の像を見ながら歩き、時にカフェで休憩。妖怪神社に参拝もできました。 水木しげる先生の「なまけ者になりなさい」というメッセージ。肩の力が抜けて楽になりました。ここには、ゆるやかな気が流れているのかもしれません。 きっと何度訪れても楽しめるところです♪ またぜひ遊びに来たいです✨ 駐車場は有料駐車場を利用しました
