Skijam Katsuyama is the largest ski resort in western Japan, surrounded by the majestic Hakusan mountain range, and attracts many ski and snowboard fans from all over the country. The unique snowfall on the Japan Sea side is not only abundant, but also blessed with attractive snow quality. The largest restaurant, Grand Cafe, located at the bottom of the slope, has 600 seats and offers Fukui gourmet dishes. Also, don't miss the Beach Terrace at the top of the slope! Here, roasted beef dishes and craft beer are served, making it a well-known restaurant among those in the know.

In the beginner's school, staff members will carefully instruct you from the ground up. The appeal of Ski Jam Katsuyama isn't just the ski slopes! A natural hot spring called Ho'onji Onsen is located right near the slopes! There is also an open-air bath, and the sunset seen from this bath is truly breathtaking. In addition, there are large サウナs and jacuzzi baths, making it a hot spring where you can enjoy various things. There may even be a dinosaur hiding somewhere in the men's bath!

For those who want to enjoy skiing or snowboarding for two consecutive days, we recommend staying at the Harvest Ski Jam Katsuyama Hotel, which is attached to Ski Jam Katsuyama! As the hotel is managed by the Tokyu Group, the inside of the building is very clean and the buffet-style restaurant is also very popular. The room called the Dinosaur Lab Room, which has dynamic dinosaur decorations inside, has received enthusiastic support from families.

When it comes to skiing, driving your own car may be the norm. However, at Ski Jam Katsuyama, there is a direct bus from JR Fukui Station! You can ride one way for 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children, making it easy to go skiing during the day and enjoy sightseeing around Fukui Station at night. From Fukui Station, there is also the Echizen Railway that goes to the Mikuni area where Tojinbo is located, so we recommend enjoying Echizen crab along with skiing.

At Ski Jam Katsuyama, there are 3,400 parking spaces available. It's almost never the case that you won't be able to find a spot, but it's recommended that you arrive early as the parking lot near the entrance tends to fill up quickly. Please note that instead of a parking fee, there is a snow removal cooperation fee of 1,000 yen. The snow removal cooperation fee is charged even on days without snowfall.

Detailed Pricing System
The lift fee for adults is 5,300 yen. There are various pricing systems for seniors, grand seniors, children, and kindergarteners, so it's recommended to check the website in advance. In addition, morning and afternoon tickets are also available, and if you don't plan to ski all day, purchasing these tickets can be a bit cheaper. Two-day and multiple-visit tickets are also available.
