The Mikata Five Lakes, which are registered as wetlands under the Ramsar Convention for the purpose of preserving the wetland ecosystem. The view from the Rainbow Line is beautiful, and the spectacular view of Mikata Five Lakes and the Sea of Japan was selected for the Cool Japan Award 2019.
