Hakusan-hime Shrine

Shirayama Hime Shrine in Shirayama City is loved by people from all over Japan as the god of matchmaking. The power spot of Hakusan Hime Shrine, Biwataki waterfall and guardian dogs, captivates visitors. The sound of the waterfall, which is named after the instrument Biwa, gives a refreshing feeling, while the smiling guardian dogs provide a calming presence. Additionally, the magnificent trees scattered throughout the grounds, such as the large Keyaki and old Cedar trees, should not be missed.
