午前中は逆光になるので晴れていても立山連峰は臨めません。朝日やけおろしを見るので無ければ晴れた日の午後に向かいましょう。また道の駅が24Hライブカメラを発信しているので、近隣を観光しつつ、スマホでライブカメラをチェックし、立山連峰を確認次第現地へ向かえば確実だと思います。鑑賞ポイントは道の駅からだと氷見線を加えられます。義経岩は女岩に一番近いポイントで多くの人で混み合います。そこからJR雨晴駅に向かった、JR雨晴駅裏側のポイントは観光客も少なく、簡易ベンチもあり寛げると共に剣岳と女岩を合わせやすいポイントです。

地元の人によると、完全な青空はレアとの事。 2年前夏の訪問時は豪雨でした。今年は季節の変わり目の3月11日。数日前まで異常気象の大雪と、前日までの雨も当日はやんで、気温は5月並み。雲がちな空模様でしたが、それでも立山連峰の美しさは十分に感じられました。海岸に降りて良し、道の駅から楽しむも良し、歩道から見ても良し。もちろん踏切も義経神社もとスポットが集約していてとても濃密な場所です。早起きができたので朝日と気嵐も見ることができました。道の駅駐車場は建物の左右にあります。満車ならば、通り過ぎた先にも展望駐車スペースがあります。
