富山市内そぞろ歩き。2月の連休に行きました。富山と薬の秘密を探るべく、池田安兵衛商店で、昔の富山の置き薬のカラフルなパッケージを楽しみ、古鍛治町を横切りながら、とても大きな会社である、廣貫堂製薬の資料館を目指しました。折しも大雪の次の次の日、でも道路などの除雪設備はとてもよいようです。大きな字で廣貫堂と書いてあり、会社の中に入って行きます。すると、ちょっとクラシカルなデザインの結構大きな資料館が現れました。中に入ると、昔の富山の薬売りの笠を被ったマネキンが立ち、薬がたくさん置いてある受け付けで、白衣の女性の方が、受け付けてくれます。すぐ左には映像を見る40人ぐらい座れるコーナーがあり、すでにおじさん3人が説明を聞いていました。壁面には漢方薬のさまざまな資料が展示されており、これだけでもわくわくしてしまいます。入場は無料です。そしてしかも、人参ファイトという置き薬の栄養剤を一本プレゼントしてもらえます!あっ🤭これ、おばあちゃんとこにあったぞ!映像コーナーで会社の歴史などを見た後は、右側の資料展示室へ。なぜ富山が薬なのか?とか、置き薬の変遷など、興味深い資料ばかりです。薬売り屋の装束を羽織って写真も撮れますよ(笑)そして、広貫堂さんは新製品をいろいろだをしていて、健康食品も置いていて、化粧品などもあり、すごくそそりました!トイレに化粧水の試供品が置いてあり、結構いい感じなんだよね。置き薬が懐かしい昭和世代にとっては、外せないスポットですよ。

広貫堂の栄養ドリンク、膳食生活というシリーズの飲料などが直売で買えます。駐車場あり。 2019年1月下旬にサンリキソゼリーが発売されたそうです。青リンゴ味と書かれていますが、パッケージを見ての通り、サンリキソ3000をそのままゼリーにした味でした。

資料館としては小さな場所とは思いますが、富山のお薬の歴史を垣間見るには良い所。 先に映像観てからの方が、資料の理解が深まると思います。 お土産は場所柄、駅前なんかとはちょっと異なるラインナップなので、変わり種をお探しの場合はこちらで何か見つかるかも。
