民芸に興味があり訪問。 こじんまりとした建物ですが、様々な紙に関する展示をみれます。家具などもかわいい。人もあまり居なかったのでたくさん写真を撮りました。 ショップでブックカバーや箱を購入しましたが、かなりお気に入りです!

和紙製品の展示が見られます。民藝運動に興味がある方は感じるものが多いと思います💁 展示部分を見るのは500円、物販部分だけであれば無料で入れます。 古い建物はよく手入れがされていてすごく可愛いです。そして至るところに各国の民芸品が置いてあって、和なのにエキゾチックな雰囲気がとても良いです😌 物販部分もとてもおススメです!オリジナルの和紙(大きなサイズ)が買えたり、現代風の可愛い和紙プロダクトもあったりとても楽しい空間でした🙌 そしてそしてPayPayもつかえます

無料の休憩所と土産物屋、和紙にかかわる展示(有料)があります。有料の展示には紙製品の展示があります。韓国李王朝の紙の編み込み製品は、木で編むようなものだと思っていた(紙も木ですが)ものが並んでおり細かい編み目にとてもびっくりしました。紙で編んで作られた服、パピルス(紀元前)や他の木で作られた紙(仏典)や羊皮紙(聖書の一部の展示もありました。綺麗な羊皮紙はこんなに白くて現代の高級木製紙と変わらない印象なのかと驚きました。そりゃ中世の本は高額になるよ…としみじみ思いました。ただ展示自体に値段分の価値を感じられるかは人を選びそうです。土産物屋で販売してる紙製のクッションは休憩所にも置いてあり、紙だと破れるのではという感覚を裏切るしっかりした手触りでした。土産物屋の紙製品の小物はとても素敵でした(つい買いました)。名前封筒は、小林さんや鈴木さんなどよくある名字が羨ましい…となりました。
