戦国時代からの歴史を感じる場所です。 出石城下町にて蕎麦を食べた後、膨れたお腹を抱えながら、城跡の上まで上がるのはなかなか至難の苦行でした(笑) 本丸の更に上へ 鳥居をくぐった奥のお稲荷様の神社が城跡の最高点です。そのから見る出石城下町の景色は最高ですよ♪

山の麓にあるいい感じのお城です。出石藩5万5千石の居城。天守閣はありません。御城印は、観光センターで売ってます。だんだんになってて一番上からは出石の街並みがみえます。頑張って脇の登山道から、山頂にある有子山城まで1時間くらいで登れます。いちど登りたいです。 石垣に注目すると、渡り階段廊下跡という珍しいのがあります。出石そばと必ずセットで行きましょう。

2024/10/21 2018年8月に城のスタンプラリー目的で来てましたがあまり記憶に残ってないです… 今回は城含め町全体を探索しゆったり過ごし楽しめました。 ちなみに有子山城址は前回・今回とも時間(往復二時間位らしい)がとれず登城してません。
