Outdoor Observatory with a View to Feel the Wind on Your Skin

Tsutenkaku Outdoor Observatory with a View to Feel the Wind on Your Skin
At Tsutenkaku Tower, there are two outdoor observatories: the "Observation Paradise," which offers unobstructed views from the top of the tower, and the "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU," which is a protruding observation deck. The "Observation Paradise" is located at the top of the tower and offers a view without any obstructions or reflections from windows. It's recommended for those who want to enjoy the view as it is. The "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU" is for those who want to experience the sensation of floating in the air. You can enjoy the thrill and excitement on the transparent floor at the tip of the tower. The fee for both "Observation Paradise" and "TIP THE TSUTENKAKU" is 300 yen for high school students and above, and 200 yen for children from 5 years old to junior high school students.
Point 2

Observatory with Different Atmospheres Depending on the Floor

Tsutenkaku Observatory with Different Atmospheres Depending on the Floor
The general observatory of Tsutenkaku has two floors: the 5th and the 4th. Both are observatories, but the atmosphere inside the building is completely different. The 5th floor is called the "Golden Observatory" and, as the name suggests, the interior is golden! You can enjoy the view of Osaka in an elegant and luxurious atmosphere. There is also a Billiken statue on the 5th floor, and it is said that rubbing its feet brings good luck. If you come all the way here, be sure to touch it at least once. On the other hand, the 4th floor is called the "Light Observatory". During the day, it looks like an ordinary observatory, but at night, it transforms completely. The mirror ball emits light, and the observatory becomes a disco world in an instant. This lively observatory is sure to be a memorable experience!
Point 3

Slider where you can slide while looking up at Tsutenkaku

Slider where you can slide while looking up at Tsutenkaku
Did you know that there is a slide when you climb the spiral staircase on the second floor of Tsutenkaku? "TOWER SLIDER" is a new type of attraction where you can slide from the 22m high ground to the first floor in about 10 seconds. You can enjoy the excitement of sliding down the outer circumference of the EV tower at once! Another attractive point is that you can look up at Tsutenkaku while sliding. It's an attraction that both children and adults can enjoy. High school students to 65-year-olds can use it for 1000 yen, and 7-year-olds to junior high school students can use it for 500 yen.
Point 4

Experience Japanese Beauty at the Tsutenkaku Garden

Located on the rooftop of the third floor of Tsutenkaku is the "Tsutenkaku Garden." There, you can find bamboo fences, stone lanterns, and lion statues, creating a Japanese-modern atmosphere reminiscent of a Japanese garden. Once you step into the area, you'll immediately feel a sense of calm. At night, the Tsutenkaku Garden transforms into a completely different sight. The garden is lit up, presenting a fantastic and surreal view. You may be able to experience the beauty of Japan once again. Why not sit on a bench and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere?
Point 5

Exciting Land Perfect for Souvenir Shopping

Located on the basement floor of Tsutenkaku is "Wakuwaku Land". Wakuwaku Land is a perfect place for souvenir shopping, as it features antenna shops from major food manufacturers. Morinaga Confectionery's "Kyorochan's Funny Candy Shop", Ezaki Glico's "Guriko-ya", and Nissin Foods' "Chicken Ramen Hiyoko-chan SHOP" are all available, selling goods and limited edition products. It's a great idea to purchase souvenirs here as a memory of your Osaka sightseeing trip!

Tsutenkaku Tower: Symbol of Osaka's Shinsekai District
Tsutenkaku Tower: Symbol of Osaka's Shinsekai District
Tsutenkaku Tower is the symbol of Osaka's Shinsekai district. The fifth floor serves as an observation deck, offering views of the cityscape of Naniwa. Additionally, the golden Billiken statue greets visitors, and it is said that rubbing the soles of its feet brings good luck. When you visit Tsutenkaku Tower, be sure to give it a try. In fact, the current Tsutenkaku Tower is the second generation, standing at a height of 103 meters. The first Tsutenkaku Tower was 64 meters tall and was dismantled due to a fire. However, as demands for local reconstruction grew, it was decided that the tower would be rebuilt 39 meters taller than the original, becoming a prominent landmark in Osaka. The current Tsutenkaku Tower features a round neon sign at the top, serving the role of indicating tomorrow's weather.
