From the sky garden on the super high-rise floor, you can overlook the cityscape of Osaka.
The unique design of two high-rise buildings connected at the top floor was selected as one of the "Top 20 Buildings in the World". On clear days, the glass-covered building reflects the sky, and the observation deck on the top floor appears to be floating in the air.

Highlights

Point 1

View from the Floating Garden Observatory

The Floating Garden Observatory at Umeda Sky Building is arguably the number one attraction. From the rooftop Sky Walk, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka. Take a 360-degree turn and enjoy the view from different angles. Since there is no roof on the Sky Walk, you can also feel an exceptional sense of openness. Of course, the view from the indoor observatory is also breathtaking! In fact, the process of going up to the observatory is also one of the highlights. You take an escalator up to the Floating Garden Observatory, and you can see the view while going up, giving you a feeling of ascending into the sky. You're sure to get a sense of excitement and inspiration throughout the experience!
Point 2

Enjoy a Meal While Taking in the View of Osaka from the Observation Deck

The Sky Garden Observation Deck has a restaurant and café where you can enjoy a special feeling of being able to view Osaka's scenery while dining or having a coffee. On the 40th floor is "cafe SKY40". While savoring Umeda Sky Building's exclusive coffee, you can relax and enjoy the view. There are also menu items such as chicken nuggets and waffles, so please spend some time relaxing with light snacks. On the 39th floor, there are "Sky Lounge Stardust" and "Chinese Restaurant Sanmiya". The view enjoyed with alcohol and luxurious dishes has a different expression. It is recommended for those who want to spend adult time.
Point 3

Leave Memories with Heart-shaped Padlocks

Umeda Sky Building Leave Memories with Heart-shaped Padlocks
画像引用:【公式】梅田スカイビル・空中庭園展望台
The heart-shaped padlock, called "Heart Lock," is a popular item that many people purchase when they visit the Sky Garden Observatory. It comes in one color and can be engraved with a name or date. The great thing about it is that you can take it home as a memento or attach it to the rooftop deck or "Promise Fence" inside the store to leave memories in your own preferred way. As it's a highly sought-after item, it may be difficult to purchase at the store, so it's recommended to buy it in advance from the website to ensure you get it.
Point 4

Discover More about Umeda Sky Building with a Guided Tour

画像引用:【公式】梅田スカイビル・空中庭園展望台
With a guided tour, you can learn more about the Umeda Sky Building. Recommended courses by the guide include visiting the "MACHINE ZOOM" room, which supplies electricity and heat energy, the "Sky Walk" that only office workers can enter, and a course that traces the history of the Umeda Sky Building. Not only will you learn interesting facts, but you can also sneak into the behind-the-scenes areas that are usually off-limits and rediscover the charm of the Umeda Sky Building.
Point 5

Feel the Showa Retro Vibe on Takimi Koji Street

Located underground in the Umeda Sky Building, Takimi Koji Street is a "Showa Retro Shopping Street". The street replicates the atmosphere of a Showa-era town, complete with beauty salons, laundromats, and restaurants that look straight out of the era. You can experience the feeling of having slipped back in time to the Showa era. The restaurants offer a wide variety of genres, including tempura, okonomiyaki, and ramen. Why not try using it for lunch or dinner after visiting the Umeda Sky Building?
Point 6

Enjoy the Latest Museum

On the 27th floor of Umeda Sky Building, you can enjoy the latest museum, "Kintani Kouji Sky Museum". Sculptures and paintings using classical and mixed techniques of mural painting are on display. Not only that, but you can also experience 3D and VR images that jump into picture books! Please feel the powerful works of Kouji Kintani. In addition, you can participate in workshop experiences with advance reservations. There are mural painting experiences, recommended for those who want to make their own works!
Point 7

Visit the Observation Deck on a Clear Day

If you're planning to visit the Floating Garden Observatory at Umeda Sky Building, it's recommended to go on a clear day. On a sunny day, you can of course enjoy the beautiful view from the observation deck. However, on rainy or windy days, you may get wet or feel a little scared on the Sky Walk, especially when you go outside. You can still enjoy the view from the indoor observation deck, but it's not as good as on a sunny day. If you want to enjoy the best conditions, please visit on a clear day.
