The Ninjochi Spring, located on both sides of the first torii gate, is water that springs from the bottom of two small torii gates and is counted among Japan's three sacred waters. There are two types of springs, one for men and one for women, which flow from bottles called "otokobin" and "onnanobin," respectively. The bottles can only be seen when the water is clear, and it is rumored that those who see them will be blessed with good luck. 神栖に所用がありまして、立ち寄りました 神社の近くにも整備されたキレイな駐車場があり助かります 鹿島と香取は詣でたので、これで東国三社詣で参り成就と成りました 敷地はそれ程大きくないですが、綺麗に整備された神社でした。 社務所も新しく、御朱印直書きで頂きました。

息栖神社(いきす)へ初めて行きました。 東国三社を回るべく立ち寄りました。 本来(古代?)から場所が移っている様です。 東国三社はほぼ正三角形の位置にあった様です。(現在は息栖神社が移動して崩れてます。) 鹿島神宮、香取神社と比べると規模感が異なりますが立派な神社でした。 川側の参道から入ると無料の駐車場があるので便利です。
