昨日訪れ、天気は雪 園内の梅は五分咲き? 梅の香りは、偕楽園よりも強く感じられた!

水戸城の三の丸にある、徳川時代の旧藩校弘道館の敷地にある公園です。 入場料無料で、開放されています。 お堀跡や、梅林、史跡等が点在しています。 また、新しいお手洗いを利用できます。 車の時は、旧県庁の駐車場に停めて、散策できます。

講道館公園に行きました。 水戸藩の藩校として第9代藩主徳川斉昭により天保12年(1841年)8月に創設されました。藩士に文武の修練をつませ、さらに医学、蘭学、天文学、歌学など幅広い学問をとり入れた、いわば総合大学というべきものでした。現在も一部分が保存され、旧弘道館として国の特別史跡になっており、正門、正庁、至善堂は国の重要文化財に指定されています。敷地跡は、弘道館公園として梅樹約60品種800本が植えられており、梅の名所となっています。 夕方というのもあり散歩する人ぐらいしか居ませんでした。 梅も少し早かったです 2025年の訪問。 弘道館公園に来た。 梅はまだ三分咲きぐらいだ。 それでも、観梅の人が結構居た。紅梅より白梅のほうが綺麗だった。 これなら、偕楽園も来週ぐらいが見頃かもしれない。
