9月の日曜日に行きました。入場前から大きなロケットが出迎えてくれてわくわくしてしまいました。つくばEXPOは自分が中学生時代に開催されたので懐かしさが蘇り、当時は行けなかったので展示物に興奮してしまいました。たくさんの参加型実験コーナーがあり子供たちが列を作っていました。都内の科学技術館にちょっと似た作りになっています。こちらの方が広いですが。 プラネタリウムは間に合わず見れなかったので見たい方は早めの来場が必要です。 館内は大人でも十分に楽しめる作りになっていて、ついつい展示物にのめり込んでしまいました。懐かしさと新しさが両方楽しめます。お土産コーナーも小さいながら楽しいグッズたくさんです。 ちなみにここは全て現金のみなので(入場料も)、必ずご用意してから来てください。お土産コーナーで買うの諦めていたご家族の方もいたので重要です。 ちなみに駐車場は500円です。すぐに満車になるので止められない時は近隣のコインパーキングがあります。 では是非どうぞ。

エクスポセンターとあるが、エクスポ記念館というより、実態としては、いわゆる科学博物館です。千葉なら、きぼーる的なもので。そこそこ新しいプラネタリウムが目玉施設なのでプラネタリウムは必ず見たほうが良いです。他の展示物はかなり量が多いですが全般に古くなってきており一種のディストピア的な雰囲気すらあります。
