At Ikuta Ryokuchi Park, actual trains that were used in the past are on display. The exhibition includes passenger cars from the former Japanese National Railways and the popular D51 steam locomotive. The passenger cars used by the Japanese National Railways were once active as Blue Trains. You can actually get on board and experience the atmosphere of that time. Walk around inside the car and revive nostalgic memories. In addition, the D51 steam locomotive is a very popular exhibit. Access

Easy Access to Ikuta Green Park
Access to Ikuta Green Park is possible by both car and public transportation. If you are using the train, the Odakyu Line's "Mukogaoka-Yuen Station" is convenient. Exit the station from the south exit and walk for about 13 minutes to reach Ikuta Green Park. If you are using the Odakyu Line or JR Nanbu Line, "Todoroki Station" is the access point. You can reach the park in about 25 minutes on foot from the Ikuta Green Park exit. If you have your own car, you can reach Ikuta Green Park in about 10 minutes from the Tomei Kawasaki IC on the Tomei Expressway.

Parking

Convenient Parking at Ikuta Green Park
For those coming to Ikuta Green Park by car, parking is available. There are three parking lots at Ikuta Green Park. For regular-sized cars, the fee is 300 yen for up to one hour, and an additional 150 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter. For large-sized cars, the fee is 700 yen for up to one hour, and an additional 350 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter. The parking lot is open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm for entry, and until 10:00 pm for exit. Please be aware of the operating hours when using the parking lot.

近所のため毎週のようにお散歩で遊びに行きます。 中央広場にはプラネタリウム施設に三本珈琲店のカフェもあり、休みの日はたまにイベントもやっていて出店も出ていたり、ピクニックも楽しめます。 期間限定のバラ園に、岡本太郎美術館、枡形山広場と展望台からは見晴らしの良い景色を一望できます。 坂道が多いですが、お散歩コースも多く、とても楽しめる公園です。

ハイキングのような散歩ができます。しっかりとした高低差を楽しめます。ほとんどの道は安全確保のために舗装されているのでハイキングのような不安定な足場を楽しむことはできません。森林浴には良い場所です。中心部分より外縁部の方が自然を楽しむことができます。

数年ぶりに散歩に訪れた。 3施設がお休みと分かり、 公園を、ぐるりと巡る事に。 歩道の多くが整備されてますが、 雑木林に入ると未舗装部が多々あります。 階段も多く運動になりますが、落葉樹が多い為滑りやすく下りは足元注意です。 展望台からは富士山や都内のビル群が遠くに見えます。展望台の広場には大木の桜🌸が多数あり、春に花見で伺おう。 外周を、のんびり一周60〜90分位でしょうか? 駐車料金は60分¥300- 超過30分¥150-
