Accessible from Chichibu Railway Nagatoro Station
From Chichibu Railway Nagatoro Station, which is accessible in about 90 minutes from central Tokyo, it's a 20-minute walk to the torii gate of Mount Takasago Shrine. Once you pass through the gate, there is a ropeway station where you can reach the mountaintop in about 5 minutes. If you go by car, it's about 20 km and a 30-minute drive from the Kanetsu Expressway Hanazono IC. There are two types of parking lots: a free parking lot for visitors to Mount Takasago Shrine and a parking lot at the foot of Mount Takasago where you can park for 500 yen a day. It's recommended to go early on weekends and holidays as many people visit.

長瀞アルプスとして初心者登山でおすすめの山。 ルートはいくつかあります。我が家は、宝登山神社にお参りをしたかったので、宝登山ロープウェイで登り、野上駅に到着するルートで下山しました。分岐はいくつかありますが、見間違えることはないはずです。下山途中に、製氷池を発見したり、あやめが綺麗に咲く道があり(5月)、ハイキングの良さを味わうことができました。下山道は歩きやすく、草花や小動物探しながら楽しくハイキングできます。当時、小学校低学年と未就学児でしたが笑顔が消えることなく楽しめるオススメのコースです。 唯一の難点は、電車がなかなか来ないこと。長瀞駅から車を停めたロープウェイ駐車場に戻ることが一番面倒でしたが、長瀞の賑わいを眺めることができます。 お手洗いは、ロープウェイ駅、レストハウス以降は野上駅までないので、済ませていきましょう。

蝋梅の盛りを愛でに、カミさんと宝登山へ 秩父鉄道の長瀞駅から野上駅へ列車で移動し、野上駅前から長瀞アルプス縦走をスタート もともと人気のあるハイキングコース、更に真冬特有の澄みきった青空の下で満開の蝋梅を楽しめるとあって、ハイカーの数もハンパなかったです 宝登山は標高こそ500m弱しかありませんが、山頂からは奥秩父や奥武蔵、奥多摩の主たる山々を一望でき、目の保養になりました あ~楽しかった😸

蝋梅で有名な宝登山に登って来ました🎵 登山口の手前には駐車場500円が いくつもあります🚕 日曜日でお天気も良いので 登山者がたくさんいました🚶‍♀️ 山頂近くには、ろうばい園がいっぱい💕 可愛い黄色い蝋梅がたくさん 香りもしてきて幸せ🍀 奥宮周辺は、神域なので 空気が違う気もします。
