The beautiful Nagatoro rock formations stretch for about 600 meters along the Arakawa River and are about 50 meters wide. These stone pavements are composed of a rock called schist and are famous as a unique topography in Japan. They have also been designated as a natural monument by the government, attracting many tourists who come to see the rock formations. There are two courses for experiencing the nature of Nagatoro during river rafting. Course A starts at Oyabu Bridge and goes around the rocky area, taking about 10-15 minutes to travel 3km. There is a rapid spot called Kotaki-no-se where you can experience a speedy and powerful river rafting experience. You can also enjoy unique views such as Kame-no-ko-iwa. Course B starts from the rocky area and goes down to Takasago Bridge, taking about 15-20 minutes to travel 3km. Course B is recommended for families and those who are new to river rafting as it is gentler than Course A. There is also a Course C that allows you to enjoy both Course A and Course B, so it's recommended to check the website and river conditions to find the course that suits you best.

Enjoy a Nagatoro River Boat Ride Starting from 1800 Yen
The cost of the Nagatoro River Boat Ride is 1800 yen for adults and 900 yen for children for both the A and B courses, which cover a distance of about 3 kilometers. The C course covers both the A and B courses, totaling about 6 kilometers, and costs 3300 yen for adults and 1600 yen for children. For those who want to experience both the A and B courses, it's recommended to try the C course. Please note that the course and operation status may change depending on the weather and river conditions.

Easy Access from the City Center!
Access to Nagatoro River Rafting is possible by both car and train. It takes about an hour and a half by car to get there from Tokyo, and there is free parking available for those using the rafting service. It's also accessible by train, with a travel time of about two and a half hours from Tokyo. The nearest station is Nagatoro Station, and it's only a two-minute walk from there to the rafting spot, making train access highly recommended.

2024.11.30 受付で料金を払いチケットをもらいます。チケットに無料送迎バスの時間が書かれており、乗る船毎にバスに乗ります。 バスは受付の前まで来るので受付の待合室等で待っていられます。 車で来た場合は店の裏手に無料の駐車場があるので便利です。

長年長瀞には、来ていましたが、初めて ライン下りをしました、結論から言うととても良かったですね。船頭さんも非常に楽しく説明してくれました。ここのライン下りのお店は駐車場代が無料です。休日などは9時に来ても10時20分スタートでした、周辺のお店は全て10時オープンなでどこかで時間を調整するのは難しいとです、 8月13日利用しましたので、暑さをしのぐのは結構大変ですよ!11時過ぎぐらいに戻りましたが、長瀞駅の周辺は大混雑しておりました。なので休日なので利用する方は早めの来店がおすすめになります。トイレはあまり綺麗ではありませんが、

ライン下り・・・。 その日の川の流れ、量によって変わるのだろうが、いい感じだった。 こーゆーのは体験しておいた方がいい。 船頭さんが色々と話してくれるのでそれもまたいい。
