Point 1

Experience the History of Logistics at a Permanent Exhibition

The Logistics Museum in Minato-ku allows you to learn about the history of the logistics industry from the Edo period to the present day. On the first floor, you can comprehensively understand Japan's "dawn of the logistics industry" through promissory notes, tools, models, and more. On the second floor, you can actually experience the transportation tools used in the past. Land, sea, and air transportation vehicles, as well as railways, ships, and aircraft, are also on display, making it a valuable learning spot for both children and adults.
Point 2

Experience the Thrilling Diorama that Teaches Modern Logistics

On the basement floor of the Logistics Museum, there is a huge diorama that reproduces the logistics terminals of land, sea, and air. The diorama, which is reproduced at a scale of 1/150, allows you to understand the actual flow of logistics, as cargo trucks, cargo ships, and dedicated airplanes move around. In addition, the products transported by land, sea, and air are also reproduced in detail, providing a thrilling experience. It's a must-see for anyone interested in modern logistics!
Point 3

Experience the Way Things Were Transported in the Past

On the second floor of the Logistics Museum, there is an experiential corner called "Transportation Comparison" where you can actually touch the transportation tools used since the Edo period. You can also experience carrying a 5-kilogram load back and forth using tools such as a balance pole and a shoulder ladder, which were commonly seen in the past. Why not immerse yourself in the feeling of working at the port back then and feel the logistics industry of the past with your whole body? It's a valuable spot that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Point 4

Introduction of the Mechanisms Supporting the Logistics Industry and Daily Life

The Port of Tokyo Museum is the only museum in Japan dedicated to logistics. Visitors can learn about the logistics industry from the Edo period to the present day. In particular, the "History of Logistics" corner introduces the mechanisms that support daily life in an easy-to-understand way. Visitors can also experience the transportation of goods by land, sea, and air, as well as cargo handling. The exhibits are enjoyable for both children and adults. Come and learn about the importance of Japan's "monozukuri" (manufacturing) by visiting this museum!
