Showa Memorial Park Facilities for Parents and Children to Enjoy Together
In addition to being blessed with rich nature, Showa Memorial Park has a variety of facilities for parents and children to enjoy together. For example, "Kodomo no Mori" has many play equipment that both adults and children can enjoy, such as fluffy cloud-like play equipment and athletic equipment. In addition, there are spots and events that parents and children can enjoy together, such as "Tombo no Shitsuchi" recommended for children who love insects, and regular crafting events. These are the attractions of Showa Memorial Park.
Point 2

Summer-Limited Rainbow Pool

Showa Memorial Park Summer-Limited Rainbow Pool
Showa Memorial Park opens an outdoor pool called "Rainbow Pool" during the summer season. The pool boasts the largest size in the Tokyo metropolitan area and has a total of nine pools, including water slides, a flowing pool, and a big wave pool. There are also food stalls by the pool, so you can enjoy playing in the pool and eating while fully enjoying the summer.
Point 3

Rent a Bicycle for a Park Stroll

Showa Memorial Park Rent a Bicycle for a Park Stroll
To efficiently move around the vast grounds of Showa Memorial Park, renting a bicycle is recommended. Rental spots are located near Tachikawa-guchi and Nishi-Tachikawa-guchi, Sunagawa-guchi, and each entrance within the park, making it easy to use. In addition to regular bicycles, unique ones such as tandem bicycles for couples are also available for rent. When cycling around the park, be sure to use the cycling road.
Point 4

Barbecue in the Great Outdoors

Showa Memorial Park Barbecue in the Great Outdoors
At Showa Kinen Park, there is a "Barbecue Garden" where you can enjoy a barbecue with family and friends in the great outdoors. The facility is equipped with basic amenities such as charcoal grills, tables, and chairs, as well as beer servers and tents to protect you from the sun. With a wide range of rental equipment available, you can enjoy a barbecue with minimal luggage.
Point 5

Hidden Gem Japanese Garden

Showa Memorial Park Hidden Gem Japanese Garden
As a hidden gem spot in Showa Memorial Park, the Japanese garden is highly recommended. The "pond and stream circuit style garden," which is the largest post-war garden at 6 hectares, is full of highlights. Enjoy the unique spots of a graceful Japanese garden, such as the changing scenery with the seasons and events held at the "Kankei-tei" where you can enjoy tea and sweets. It takes more than 10 minutes on foot from each entrance, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking.
