Highlights

Point 1

Valuable Plants of the Marsh Plant Community

Shakuji Park Valuable Plants of the Marsh Plant Community
Shiinamachi Park is a park with a rich landscape that you wouldn't expect to find in the city center. The "marsh plant community" on the premises is home to valuable plants, so much so that it has been designated as a natural monument by the government. Let's admire a variety of plants that are not easily seen in the city, including the cold-resistant Mitsugashiwa. Additionally, at the "waterfront observation garden" also located within Shiinamachi Park, it is possible to appreciate various plants.
Point 2

Enjoy the Scenery by the Water! Ishigami and Sanpoji Ponds

Shakuji Park Enjoy the Scenery by the Water! Ishigami and Sanpoji Ponds
At Ishigami Park, there are bodies of water such as Ishigami and Sanpoji ponds. The scenery reflected on the water's surface is beautiful, allowing you to feel nature that you wouldn't expect in the city. In addition, Ishigami Park offers unique experiences such as taking a boat ride from Sanpoji Pond for a stroll on the lake or fishing. Sit on a bench around the pond or take a walk on the walking path and enjoy the cool and refreshing waterside scenery.
Point 3

Enjoy Local Cuisine! Many Delicious Restaurants

Shakuji Park Enjoy Local Cuisine! Many Delicious Restaurants
At Shishigami Park, there is a restaurant called "Parks Shishigami" where you can enjoy a meal while enjoying the waterside scenery. Located right next to the boathouse, it's not only a great place to eat, but also to buy souvenirs. By the way, the restaurant offers unique dishes such as "Tokyo Yakimochi," a cute dumpling with a face, and "Sakura Cake," which has a subtle cherry blossom flavor.
Point 4

View Waterfowl at Shishigami Park

Shakuji Park View Waterfowl at Shishigami Park
Shishigami Park is known as a park where various waterfowl such as Mandarin ducks, mallards, and pintails come to visit. The "Sanpoji Pond" in the park is also known as the "non-freezing pond" because even in the winter season, the water in the pond does not freeze. This allows for the viewing of waterfowl even in the winter. In addition to waterfowl, wild birds such as kingfishers, blue-and-white flycatchers, and bush warblers can also be observed, so if you want to enjoy bird watching, please come and visit.
Point 5

Enjoy the Scenery of Nature in Every Season

In spring, colorful cherry blossoms bloom around the pond, attracting many tourists who come to admire them. In summer, the lush green trees provide coolness, while in autumn, the park is dyed with beautiful autumn leaves. In winter, you can also enjoy the snowy scenery. If you want to experience nature in Tokyo, please come and visit.
