日暮里駅南口から歩いて行くことが できます。 種類豊富な生地をとても安く 買えます。 激安な洋服や雑貨のお店も ありました。 かわいいカフェもありましたが 飲食店は少なめです。 日曜日を定休日としているお店も あるので、平日や土曜日に行くのが おすすめ!

日暮里繊維街は、JR日暮里駅南口から歩いて3分程のところにある日暮里中央通り約1キロメートルに及ぶ通りを中心に生地織物の90軒以上の店舗が軒を連ねるエリアです。 この繊維街では、和装及び洋装、紳士服・婦人服地、子供服から繊維製品、服飾関連の小物や付属品など々、生地織物に関するあらゆるものを取り扱っている。 近年マスメディアなどで「ニポカジ (日暮里カジュアル)」というこの繊維街の小売ブティックファッションから出た造語まで生まれるほど驚きの安さで買うことができる。若者から年配層、最近ではサリーをまとったインド系の外国人など様々な客層の人々がこの街に集まり、多くの買い物客で賑わいます。

東京にはかっぱ橋道具街や稲荷町仏壇街など様々な物に特化した通りがあるがここ日暮里は繊維店が集積した街。場所は日暮里中央通り沿い。日暮里駅前交差点あたりから始まり根岸に入る手前で終わる。
