Kanto's three great Fudos - Takahata Fudoson Kongoji Temple
Kongō-ji Temple at Takahata Fudōson has a long history, having been established in the early Heian period. The Niō-mon gate was built to guard the Fudō-dō hall, which enshrines the Fudō Myō-ō of Takahata Fudōson, and features statues of Kongōrikishi on either side, creating an overwhelming sense of power for those who see it.

Kongōji Temple (Takahata Fudoson) is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Takahata Fudo Station on the Keio Line and Tama Monorail. Walking along the approach lined with restaurants and souvenir shops from the station, you can easily find the temple on its vast grounds, even if it's your first visit. If you're coming by car, you can park for free at the traffic safety prayer hall located right next to the temple, or at a nearby paid parking lot.

紅葉を観に行ってきました。 高幡不動は真言宗智山派別格本山の格式高いお寺です。御本尊は不動明王です。701年創建と言われています。 信仰の寺で、28日の縁日は沢山のお参りがあるようです。 交通安全祈願殿の前に駐車場があり、参拝者は無料で駐車できます。 道路から、仁王門、五重塔が観えて素晴らしいです。 新選組土方歳三の菩提寺とされ、像が入口にあります。歴史を感じます。日野市民の誇りでしょう。土方歳三はハンサムな方だったようです。 春は桜、夏は紫陽花、秋は紅葉と四季折々訪れたいお寺です。

「高幡不動尊」に初詣で行ってきた。関東三大不動のひとつの高幡不動尊は正式名称は「高幡不動尊金剛寺」。「高幡不動尊金剛寺」は、東京都日野市高幡にある真言宗智山派別格本山の寺院。本尊は大日如来。境内には重要文化財である不動堂、仁王門をはじめ、多くの歴史的文化財、寺宝がある。駅から「高幡不動尊金剛寺」までの参道には商店街があり、縁起物や名物がたくさんある。「高幡不動尊金剛寺」の裏山には四国八十八ケ所巡拝を模した山内の巡拝コースがあり、歩くと自然豊かな風景を楽しめる。あじさいまつりや紅葉まつりなど季節ごとのイベントもあり、四季の移ろいを楽しめる。

去年の京都旅行で残念だったのが、、、 「池田屋騒動之址」に行かなかった事かな、、、 まだ、その件を引きづっているらしく(笑) 今日は、新選組の縁のある所に訪問を決めた 場所は、日野市「高幡山明王院金剛寺」 「土方歳三」の菩提寺がある寺だ 「土方歳三」の銅像も建っている 顔つきは、中々凛々しく男前だ 寺の後ろはハイキングコースになっており、枯れ木の賑わいだが、緑が生い茂る4月から5月にかけて訪問するのがイイかもしれない。 小腹が空いたので久しぶりに「たい焼き」を買う。色鮮か。程よい甘さがいい。 本当は「土方歳三」のイラストが入ったうどん(乾麺)を買いたかったが、あいにく、去年の秋に買ったうどん(乾麺)が、未だ家に残ってる。 これを食べ切らなないと、怒られるから 次回の楽しみにしよう(笑)
