At Hakukotsu Onsen, there are many inns boasting hot springs with natural spring water. There are inns famous for mixed-gender baths, such as "Hakukotsu Onsen Awa no Yu Ryokan," as well as inns with outdoor baths. There are also luxury inns with rooms that have semi-open-air baths. The hot springs contain a large amount of carbon dioxide compressed in the ground, which has the effect of promoting blood flow by creating bubbles on the skin.
