4月中旬、松代城の帰りにバスを乗り継いで来ました。桜の名所で、古戦場でもあり公園でもあります。 謙信&信玄の一騎打ちブロンズは、すぐわかります。 実際に一騎打ちがあろうとなかろうと、 川中島の戦いの位置がどうであろうと、 実際何回戦ったのか諸説あろうと、 歴史好きには心くすぐられる地なのです。 駐車場すぐ横のお店(龍虎)には、丼もの中心のご飯が食べられます。気楽に食堂という感じです。店内は、謙信&信玄グッズがいっぱい。数種類のTシャツ(綿です。速乾タイプではない)、手ぬぐい、キャップ、御朱印ぽいもの等マニアが好きそうなグッズがたくさん売っていました。

良い意味で往時の激しい戦いがまったく想像できないくらい静かで穏やかなスポットです。 信玄・謙信一騎討ちの像がある八幡社境内では歴史を感じる凛とした空気感が感じられる一方、長野市立博物館周辺には芝生広場や池泉が広がり、八幡社境内とは違ったのどかな雰囲気はピクニックやデートには最適な場所なのではないでしょうか。

長野県川中島にある川中島古戦場跡。歴史上に残る川中島の戦いの跡地をそのまま公園にして古戦場跡地として残している。見どころは上杉謙信と武田信玄の一騎打ちの像👏迫力満点💯 愛知県にある桶狭間古戦場も良いが、こちらも戦国ファンなら一度は訪れてみたいスポットである。
