新潟県の一宮神社である 弥彦神社です。2月に伺ったので雪が降っていました。 駐車場完備。 境内はかなり広く、鹿や鶏さんもいました。 おみくじは結ぶ場所が無く、社殿の両サイドにおみくじ廃棄箱があります。 桜の木がたくさんあるので4月は、綺麗な景観だと思います。

越後一宮 彌彦神社 小さい頃から何度も上がらせていただいていますが境内も広く、相撲場や弓道場に宝物殿に鹿苑・日本鶏舎や重軽の石など見どころが多い。 新しいトイレも休憩所を兼ねており木の香りがして綺麗に保たれています。 春には桜苑の桜が咲き誇ります。 境内の石灯籠が多くありますが種類も多く違いを見るのも楽しいです。 狛犬がトップクラスにカッコイイです!

3月上旬の土曜日に参拝。 新潟駅前から車で移動。 高速道路を使わずに1時間ほどで到着しました。 弥彦山を背負った拝殿を含む風景や、そこに至る参道は一見の価値ありだと思います。 帰りは海岸線を走る国道402号 (越後七浦シーサイドライン)を使い、日本海側の景色を楽しみながら戻りました。
