The museum is located in a room of the Yumura Onsen Ryokan Cooperative, and it takes about 10 minutes to view the exhibits, so be sure to stop by before going to your accommodation. Please note that the museum is closed on Sundays and holidays.

Every year on the Saturday and Sunday closest to August 10th, the "Yumura Furusato Festival" is held, and the grounds are bustling with many visitors.

Kofu-Yumura Onsen is a hot spring located in a convenient location accessible from Nagano Prefecture and Tokyo. The nearest station, JR Kofu Station, is a 1 hour and 30 minute train ride from JR Matsumoto Station and JR Shinjuku Station, and a 2 hour train ride from JR Shizuoka Station. While it is possible to walk from the station to the hot spring resort, it takes more than 20 minutes, so we recommend using a taxi. By the way, if you take a taxi from the station, you can arrive in about 10 minutes.
