耶馬溪ダム完成記念の非常に広く管理の行き届いた公園です。 紅葉を楽しみに訪れました。 日本庭園で耶馬溪や近隣の特徴を現してるように感じました。 池・滝・川・岩・石・緑豊かな数多くの木々。素晴らしいですね。 庭園内を隈なく歩いていると色んな美しい景色を楽しめます。 遊歩道だけでなく横道を逸れたり橋の下を潜ったりとアチコチで綺麗な場所・景色に出会えました。 色んな場所で色んな角度・高さから見る事をオススメです。 日頃から丁寧に手入れされている様で落葉の秋なのに綺麗に掃除されていました。多くの木々も自然な様に剪定されて整っています。この非常に広い敷地を隅々まで整備・管理するのは相当な事だと思います。 お陰様で本当に気持ち良く楽しませて頂きました。 遠方なので夜間のライトアップは諦めましたが来年は是非チャレンジしたいですね。 新緑の季節の季節も来よう。

R6.11.29に来園 平日でしたがかなりの来園者でした。この公園はダム建設中にでた石を利用した庭園です。植えている木々との景観良く、整備も行き届いています。この時期は紅葉が良いです(新緑も良好)。

2024年12月7日に紅葉を見に行きました。丁度見頃。 15時頃でしたが、もみじ狩りの方が多数来園されてました。 駐車場は7割程度が埋まってました。 園内はアップダウンがあるので足の不自由な方は介助が必要です。 紅葉は大分一かもです。
