最高でした😭 入場料は現金でマップとチケットが貰えました。 誰もいない状況では、ライトを消灯した暗闇散策が体験でき、暗闇も楽しかったです‼️ ライトがつくと幻想的な鍾乳洞の風景がひろがっており、堪能しました。 受付の人も親切で黒糖と月桃ハーブ茶を提供していただき、看板猫も抱っこさせていただきました(友人が) 所要時間も30分ほどでふらっと寄ることにオススメです! 島の人と触れ合えるいい観光スポットでした。 また来ます!

与論に人が住み始めた最初の地とされる赤崎ですがこの付近に長い年月を経て地下水が石灰岩の土壌に浸み込み自然の力で形成された鍾乳洞があります。 洞内の看板に書いてありましたが、人が入れるようになるには10万年以上かかるそうですがこの赤崎鍾乳洞は100万年経っているようです。そして800万年前の人骨も見つかっています。 空港からは15分ほど、与論民俗村を過ぎ畑の中に通ると看板が見えてきます。ちょうど島の駅くるまどうという物産品が売られているお店付近。駐車場に停めて受付前のところに仮設のトイレ男女兼用一箇所を利用し、大人500円(子供200円)を支払います。懐中電灯を借りて階段を降りたら鍾乳洞入り口です。 鍾乳洞は小さいので15〜20分あれば観れてしまいます。幸福の門、雪の棚田、天井が鋭く尖った岩の塊がある剣の間がありました。 足元は水がたまった場所もあり滑ると危ないのでスニーカーやアクアシューズが良いと思います。お年を召されてる方でも歩行可能であれば規模が小さいのでハードはそこまで高くなさそうです。

お昼頃行ってみると「外出中」と言う札がかかっていて、戻って来られる時間が書いてあったので、出直し再度行きました。 まぁまぁ楽しめた鍾乳洞です。 飾りっけもなく、入って出てくるまで、他の観光客ゎいませんでした。
