Access in 15 Minutes by Car from Kurikino IC!
The access route to Shirahama Beach in Ichiki-Kushikino City, Kagoshima Prefecture, is to take public transportation to JR Kurikino Station, and from there it's about a 15-minute drive by rental car or taxi. If you're driving, you can take the Kurikino IC on the Minami-Kyushu Expressway, then take Route 39, Route 3, and Route 43 for about 9km, arriving in about 15 minutes. Shirahama Beach is a place with a beautiful natural environment, and your way of enjoying it may differ depending on your access method.
