Access the Sakurajima Magma Hot Springs in about 15 minutes by ferry from Sakurajima Port!
When using public transportation to access the Sakurajima Magma Hot Springs, you can arrive in about an 8-minute walk from Sakurajima Port. Ferries run from Kagoshima City to Sakurajima Port, and it takes about 15 minutes to arrive at Sakurajima. If you're using a car, it's about 40km from the Kokubu IC on the Higashi-Kyushu Expressway via National Routes 220 and 224. You'll need to park your car at Sakurajima Port, take a ferry for about 15 minutes, and then walk to the hot springs after crossing to Sakurajima. Sakurajima is a popular tourist destination, so access by public transportation, car, and ferry is relatively convenient. However, we recommend visiting while being mindful of the weather and ferry schedules.

設備の古さは感じますが、部屋から桜島フェリーを見る事が出来ます。 スタッフは皆さん親切です。 マグマ温泉を利用する場合、地元の日帰り客が多いので21時頃に行くと貸切状態で了解出来ました。 朝も日帰り客がいないので貸切状態で桜島フェリーを見ながら入浴でき最高でした。

桜島に渡った際に寄りました。 桜島が火山だから、温泉もあるんだね。 桜島マグマ温泉。。。ベタな名前ですが、そのセンスは嫌いじゃない。 値段も普通の銭湯と同じ400円しませんでした。 タオルは購入、バスタオルはレンタルで各100と200円でした。 脱衣所のロッカーが有料です。 珍しく利用料が返却されないタイプです。 温泉ですが、鉄の匂いが凄いです。 鉄分多めだと思います。 観光最後に寄ることが多いと思いますが、入浴時間、フェリー時間を考えたら、鹿児島市内でレンタカー返却の場合は2時間前に寄らないと時間に余裕ないかも。

・2024年11月 休日日中に入浴 ◆値段 390円(入浴料のみ) ◆お湯 数は最大3、最小0。良否ではなく、数字の大小が程度を表現「その日の気分による面もあり) ・温度:2.0 体感41°Cにコントロールされている。 ・色 :1.5白濁気味の薄い褐色 ・匂い:2.0鉄分の匂いがやや強い ・味 :1.5まあまあの塩味 ・滑り:0.0 キレの良いドライな湯ざわり その他の感想 入浴した時、男湯は鹿児島の街に向いていて、時刻によってはフェリーがよく見える。 10人程度の洗い場にはリンスインとボディソープあり◯ サウナと水風呂、透明な湯船とメインの温泉の大きな湯船がある。温泉の方は見る角度により色味が変わって不思議な雰囲気がある。お湯は白濁の混じった黄褐色で湯船に浸かると底まで見通すことができる程度の濁りがある。鉄分の匂いが強い。フェリーの待ち時間にちょっと立ち寄りも楽しい温泉だと思う。
