Access

Using Convenient Public Transportation
Using convenient public transportation is recommended for accessing the Jigokudani hot springs. In particular, taking the high-speed bus from Hakata is highly recommended. If you take the high-speed bus to Jigokudani from the bus terminal adjacent to Hakata Station, you can get there in about 2 and a half hours. Of course, free parking is also available in the Jigokudani hot springs area, so it's also possible to visit by car!

Using Cost-Effective Hot Springs
There are various hot springs scattered throughout the Jozankei Hot Springs area. Among them, there are several facilities that can be used for free or for about 200 yen. You can use the communal baths and foot baths called "Motoyu" for free. The baths called "Yakushi-yu" and "Gozenshu-yu" can be used with great cost-effectiveness for only 200 yen! It seems easy to stop by and enjoy them on your trip.
