Access to Kikuchi Hot Springs
Access to Kikuchi Hot Springs is very convenient. If you are coming by car, use the Kyushu Expressway to aim for either the Kikusui Interchange or the Ueki Interchange. You can comfortably drive on spacious roads to reach Kikuchi Hot Springs. On the other hand, if you are using public transportation, Kumamoto Electric Railway buses are convenient. Take the bus to Kikuchi City, then transfer to the Kikuchi Hot Springs/Citizen Plaza-bound bus. Once you get off at Kikuchi Hot Springs, you have arrived. 立ち寄り湯でお邪魔しました! まず大きな洋風の内湯が目を惹きます 広々とした内湯を1人で堪能し、とても贅沢な気分でした笑 そしてよく見ると奥へ続く階段があり、降りて行くと露天風呂を発見、それも良かったのですが、昔は更に奥へと続く露天もあったようです…(前はコレより更に広かったのかと驚くばかり) 菊池に来たなら是非訪れて欲しい所ですね! 立ち寄りは6〜9時、15〜23時30分迄 500円(2024年夏前) 無料駐車場あり 貸切用の温泉もあるみたいでとても気になります😊

菊池温泉を代表する観光ホテル。約30年前、約10年前に2回ほど投宿していますが、段々衰えつつある感じは否めません。ただ、夕食のアルコール飲み放題や、朝食の辛子蓮根は嬉しい。布団敷きセルフサービスも、一人旅では嬉しいですね。菊池ファンとしては、末永く頑張ってほしいです。
