You can enjoy the lively atmosphere of a town where locals come to shop. In one corner of the shopping street, there is the "Showa Town Exhibition Hall," which recreates a household from the Showa era of the 1950s. It displays household items, toys, and other items from that time. In addition, the former post office and library have been preserved, allowing you to experience a nostalgic atmosphere. Showa Town is a spot you definitely want to visit when you come to visit Bungotakada City.

正に大人が童心に還り子供と楽しめる場所ですね。特に駄菓子屋の夢博物館は、レアでコアな品物がこれでもかと並んでいます。昭和の記憶が朧気な私ですら、さらっと見ることが出来ずに、一つ一つ見入ってしまいましたのでだいぶ長居しましたw 他にも古い町並みが残る新町商店街で購入した、お団子やコロッケを食べ歩きながら商店街を巡れたのも楽しかったです。お店は軽食だけでなく、ガッツリ食べられるお店も何店もありましたので昼食がてら来れるのもいいですね。

商店街あげての昭和の町作りとても素晴らしいです。特にレトロバスの案内人楽しく可笑しく素晴らしいガイドでした。お目当ての商店にスムーズに足を運べました。有料の施設もその価値ありでとても楽しめました。今回は、少し寒かったので暖かい時期に又行こうと考えています。

昭和生まれに懐かしい町展示物などがある有料(2箇所で900円)や、町中を自由に見学する事が出来る無料ゾーンあります折角なら少し高いかとおもいますが有料ゾーンを見る方をお勧めします特に有料ゾーンにあったボードゲームや、駄菓子屋にあったインベーダー(1回100円)が楽しかったし童心に帰れましたそして車好きなら旧車が数台展示してあります乗る事はできませんが近くで自由に観る事できますそして、観光案内所から時間に1本出てる、町内を周るボンネットバス(無料、観光案内所で受付)に乗る事できます飲食店も数軒あり、昔懐かしい給食を食べるお店もあります昭和の町駐車場も観光案内所の近くにあります
