池田池公園は22.14ヘクタールの都市公園で、1993年に開園しました。公園の中心には奈良時代から存在する池田池があり、最近大規模な改修が行われました。公園内には整備された散策路や花菖蒲園があり、6月には菖蒲まつりが開催されます。家族連れに人気の遊具やピクニックエリアも完備されています。池田池公園は四季折々の自然を楽しめる憩いの場として、地元住民や観光客に愛されています。

明日、菖蒲まつりのようです。 周りに紫陽花も咲いていてとてもきれいでした。奥の方まで車で行けるのもいいですね。来年は桜を見に行きたいです。

ウォーキングで利用しました。 1周、約3キロでちょうどよい距離です。 ジョギングや犬の散歩されている方も多いです。 遊歩道は、静かで鳥のさえずりが心地よいです。 公園の北側は、野生のサルが出没しますのでご注意を!
