東平地区までプチ登山してきました。 廃業された食堂脇の登山口は草ボーボーでしたので川の脇道から入ってこの橋をピストンするルートが無難です🫡 情報&ひと気が少ない登山道で、巻道がけっこうあって迷いそうなのでご注意を。

足場の悪い急な登り坂を列車で云えばスイッチバックの様に登った、先ず展望台が有り下には鹿森ダムと別子の湖が眼下に観える、少し戻り下ると養蜂箱が間隔を置いて幾つか道脇に置いてある、樹間から朱い色の遠登志(おとし)吊り橋が見えた、住友鉱業が架けた橋で“日本遺産“のプレート有り、アーチ橋の部分は昔の儘で遺されていて吊り橋とは繋がっていない様に見えた、遺構として遺しているのだろう。結果、少し揺れるのが楽しい、橋下に下りる道あり、当然探索すると苔むした石垣が幾重にも小女郎川近く迄積まれている、おそらく旧住居跡で此の谷水を生活水に暮していたと思うが、九つ在った東平集落の一つだろう。密林を分け入り見つけし枇杷の木が住みし昔人の暮しを知らせてくれた気がした、更に吊り橋を渡り先に行くと何とタイル貼りの道が現れ山水を汲む場所と遠登志渓谷遊歩道が現れた???つまり僕は一番しんどいルートを選んで遠登志吊り橋へ辿り着いた訳か····こんな楽なルートも知らずに ま、いい運動に成りました····

平日は人気も無く、のんびりと散策するには良い場所です。橋は適度に揺れます(笑) 橋の上では、水の流れや小鳥のさえずりに癒されます。 橋の近くでお猿さん5~6匹と遭遇しました。ワサワサと木をゆすっては、皆せっせと木の実を食べてました。
