The access to Kashiwa Island is approximately a three-hour drive from Kochi City. The most convenient way to access Kashiwa Island is by car or rental car. Using your own car or rental car makes it easy to travel to Kashiwa Island. If using public transportation, first take the train to Sukumo Station, the nearest station. It takes about three hours from Kochi Station to Sukumo Station. From there, it takes about 40 minutes by rental car to get to Kashiwa Island. If using air travel to access Kashiwa Island, it takes about three hours by rental car from any airport.
