幕末明治にかけての経営難で売却の危機に陥った別子銅山を再開発、近代化させた銅山中興の祖である広瀬宰平氏の足跡と、銅山の歴史を知ることができる記念館です。 敷地内にある旧広瀬邸と合わせてご覧になることをお勧めします。 写真は旧広瀬邸です。

旧広瀬邸を観覧した後にお邪魔したのですが、相対して近代的な建築物でとても楽しむことが出来ました。 大変失礼な言い方ですが、こんな所にこのような素晴らしい建築物があったとは・・・ 正に感動ものです。
