仁科の町から川沿いを少し上流に進み橋を渡ると、川のせせらぎに包まれた温泉があった。周囲は緑にあふれ別世界のように居心地のよい温泉で、露天風呂目当てにちょくちょく湯浴みに出掛けた。 肌寒い春先は日だまりを求めて散策を…菜の花と河津桜の共演に酔いしれて " ほっこり " …歩き疲れ温泉で温まって " 湯ったり " するのだった。
