📅2024-11月 3年ぶりの訪問。 大切に守られてて素晴らしい。 📆2021-10月 わかりやすい場所にあります。 筑後の矢部川の北岸、昔から鉱泉湯として名高い船小屋温泉。 【日本一の含鉄炭酸水】の源泉です。 昔話に、この噴き出る源泉に足をつけた雀が10羽近く生き絶えた…と言う説があります。 🅿️もありました。

筑後広域公園の「恋ぼたる」入口近くのトンネルから歩いて行きました。トンネル横の散策道を歩いて行くと公園と道路の向い側に鉱泉場があります。 公園では女性が清掃作業中でベンチで休憩の方も…。 清掃中の方に🐦雀地獄の言葉の由来を尋ねたら説明板の場所を教えて頂きました。⛲雀地獄は今もぶくぶくで、別府温泉や雲仙温泉の○○地獄のようです。 こちらは透明に見える冷泉 ですが…。 雀地獄の説明板は公園と鉱泉場の前の一角にレトロで立派な?丸い説明板がありました。 文字が一部消え言葉が昔風で読みにくいですが納得。公園と鉱泉場の共有の駐車場があり便利です。

すぐ隣の飲泉場に行った際は、素通りできずに立ち寄ってしまう場所です。鉄分の強い水がブクブクしているのと、淡水魚オヤニラミのモニュメントがあるのが特徴です。 このモニュメントはシュールで、ついつい見入ってしまうのは私だけ?
