芦ノ湖のほとりに鎮座する箱根神社さん。赤い鳥居が湖面に映える平和の鳥居は、箱根を代表する絶景スポット!(ただ、この日は立ち入り禁止・・・涙) 境内へと続く杉木立の参道には、神聖な雰囲気が漂います。石段を上がると、朱塗りの本殿が威厳を持って迎えてくれます。社殿は、古くからの荘厳な雰囲気を大切に保っています。 箱根の守り神として知られ、縁結び、開運、交通安全の御利益があるとされています。境内には樹齢千年を超える御神木や、巨大な力石が置かれ、参拝者の願いを見守っています。 見どころの一つが、本殿横にある「九頭龍神社」。水神として崇められており、箱根の豊かな水資源を象徴する存在です。龍をかたどった手水舎も印象的です。 箱根登山バスの「元箱根」停留所から徒歩約5分とアクセスも良好。 ぜひご参拝くださいね。

万巻上人によって奈良時代の757年(天平宝字元年)に創建された関東総鎮守箱根大権現と尊崇されてきた長い歴史のある名社。 芦ノ湖の湖畔に鎮座し、関東を代表するパワースポットと言われています。 参拝者用の無料駐車場あります。 神奈川県民でありながら初めての参拝です。 ご祭神 ・瓊瓊杵尊 ・木花咲耶姫命 ・彦火火出見尊 の御三神を「箱根大神」と総して祀っています。 境内には樹齢600年を越える老杉の大木がそびえ ひんやりとした空間。 この中にいるだけで浄化されていくような荘厳な雰囲気でキリッとします。 鳥居は国道1号線をまたぐ第一鳥居から石の階段を上りきった第五鳥居まで。 芦ノ湖の湖上にたつ平和の鳥居まであります。 2000年には九頭龍神社の神宮が境内に建立されて、龍神水とともに箱根神社に参拝したすぐ隣での参拝が可能になりました。 ご利益は 開運厄除、心願成就、交通安全、縁結び、勝運守護、安産祈願など たくさんです。 御朱印いただきました。

2回目訪問。駐車場は無料、有料があります。 神社側にもあります。今回、神社から離れた場所に停めたので少し歩きました。お参り後にいただいた甘酒が美味しいです。(飲食の売店あります)芦ノ湖にある鳥居は行列のため、写真撮影はあきらめ。平日訪問だったのでそれほど並んでなかったかもしれませんが、15分から20分は並ぶかもしれません。お天気もいい日だったので景色も良く、撮影できたら良かったなぁと残念でならない。スワンボートも乗れるのでお時間に余裕があれば乗ってみるのもありです。
