Prefectural Tsutsujigaoka Park is one of Japan's top azalea viewing spots, designated as a national scenic spot. The park covers an area of 50,000 square meters and is home to around 50 varieties and 6,000 azalea trees. In particular, the "Kōtōnaishi's Beloved Azalea," estimated to be 800 years old, is famous, and the group of old azalea trees is also a highlight. Every year from early April to early May, the "Tsutsuji Festival" is held in the park. In the azalea garden area of the park, you can enjoy the magnificent view of many azaleas, including the Kōtōnaishi's Beloved Azalea. Moryo-ji Temple is a historic temple of the Soto sect of Zen Buddhism, founded in 1426. It's also famous as the "Bunbuku Chagama no Moryo-ji" in the Karuta of Joshu, and is loved by the people of Gunma Prefecture as a classic temple. There are many cute tanuki statues lined up in the temple grounds, welcoming travelers with their adorable appearance. Moryo-ji Temple has three main features. First, it's famous as the stage for the children's song "Bunbuku Chagama". Second, visitors can see the "Senju Kannon Hankashiwai-zo", a statue of the Buddha Shakyamuni merged with the Senju Kannon statue. Third, the Moryo-ji Swamp Wetland spreads within the temple grounds and has been designated as a natural monument of Gunma Prefecture. Overall, Moryo-ji Temple is a temple with many attractions for travelers, such as its historical value, natural beauty, and the presence of friendly tanuki. Both the Hakubaku Museum and Moryo-ji Temple in Tatebayashi City are popular tourist spots in the city, each with many attractive features!

A Cultural Hub Centered around Flour!
The Seifun Museum is a cultural hub centered around flour, established by the Nisshin Seifun Group. It's a museum where you can enjoy and experience the latest flour milling technology in a fun and easy-to-understand way, and deepen your knowledge of wheat and flour. The museum has two buildings: the New Building, where milling machines are exhibited, and the Main Building, which introduces the history of the founding family, the Shoda family. Workshops such as the Wheat Flour Clay Class and the Flour Milling Lab Class are also held, allowing you to learn more about wheat. It's a recommended spot for those interested in milling or food.
