3月の平日昼の晴天時に訪れました。国道沿いの広い駐車場から、歩いて5分ほどで到着します。入場利用300円を払って、歩いて登れまする。房総半島最南端からの360度の景色は素晴らしい。明治2年に仮設でスタートした由緒ある、数少ない登れる灯台です。灯台の周囲の遊歩道も完備して、すぐ近くに美味しいレストランも多く並んでいて、たっぷり楽しめます。

思ったよりも広く結構楽しめました! 灯台は300円で登れ大満足! 先端の方には岩山の上にベンチがあり海の絶景を堪能できます とっても楽しかったです!

灯台の手前に、大きな駐車場があり、無料で駐車が可能です。この灯台は展望台へあがることが可能で、77段のらせん階段の上に、狭いはしご階段が二つあります。当たり前ですが、展望は最高で、300円払って是非上に上ることをお勧めします。 私が行った時は、小学生がバスで乗り付けて、集団で灯台に向かっていたので、慌てて追い抜いて先に上がりました。
