1625 Park, built by the founder of Shinjo Domain in 1625.
This urban park was created by developing the ruins of Shinjo Castle. The stone walls and fences from that time remain, allowing visitors to see the remnants of the past. It is now known as "Mogami Park" and is a popular place for citizens to relax. It is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot, with about 300 cherry blossom trees blooming beautifully.
