Enjoying movies and music in the retro atmosphere of the space provides a different kind of excitement compared to the latest state-of-the-art halls.

Enjoy the Sea of Hakodate!

The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is also the departure and arrival point for the Kanemori Bay Cruise, where you can take a boat ride and explore Hakodate Port. The tour takes about 15 minutes. Riding on a small speedboat and running on the sea is an exhilarating experience! Enjoy the view of Mt. Hakodate and the Red Brick Warehouse, which can only be seen from the sea, to your heart's content. The business hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 from April to October 31st.

At the historic Hakodate Beer Hall, located in a corner of the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse and opened for business in 1988, you can enjoy fresh draft beer delivered directly from the Sapporo Beer factory. In addition to original beer, there are also many original beer cocktails available for those who don't like the bitterness of beer. There are also many fresh dishes available that use local ingredients that can be enjoyed together with the beer.

If you're visiting the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse by car, we recommend using the "Times Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse" parking lot. It's located next to the nationally famous Lavista Hakodate Bay, known for its delicious breakfast. One great point is that if you make a purchase of 1,000 yen or more at the designated facility, parking is free for up to 2 hours. The regular rate is 440 yen for the first hour, and then 220 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter.

15-Minute Walk from JR Hakodate Station

The Bay Area where the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses are located can be accessed from JR Hakodate Station, the gateway to Hakodate, with a 15-minute walk. Once you arrive at JR Hakodate Station, head straight towards Mount Hakodate along the coast and you will arrive at your destination. Although a 15-minute walk may seem like a bit of a distance, there are plenty of sights to see along the way, such as the Hakodate Morning Market and cafes, so why not enjoy a stroll around town as well?
