During the Edo period, it rapidly grew as a salt production area, and produced many outstanding scholars such as Raku Shunsui, Raku Shunko, Anzai Kyotaro, and Yorozan Yoh. The stately houses born from the prosperity of salt fields and merchant culture still retain their original appearance, conveying an atmosphere of old-fashioned charm. 市の重要文化財です。 ふすまの取っ手など職人の技が見られます。 駐車場はありません。道の駅を利用!
